Monk Bloodline Heritage Connection Announces Inaugural "Roots to Routes" Train Ride

New Haven, CT – The Monk Bloodline Heritage Connection (MBHC), a 501(c)(3) organization, is thrilled to announce the inaugural "Roots to Routes" Train Ride, a journey of self-discovery and cultural immersion. This historic train ride will departed from New Haven, Connecticut, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, and concluded on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

This unique initiative is inspired by the journey of Olivia and Conley Monk, who migrated from the South to the North in the early 1950s. Now, their descendants embarked on a reverse journey, retracing their ancestors' steps and reconnecting with their Southern roots.
